According to a Fevad study, in the 3rd quarter of 2023, total internet sales in France will be worth more than €38 billion, up 9.8% on the 3rd quarter of 2022 for sales of products and services. After two exceptional years, with record growth in 2020, sales of products and services on the internet collapsed, but are now slowly returning to growth, particularly in the beauty and tourism sectors. France is still in the top 3 in European e-commerce, behind the UK and ahead of Germany. But for the big e-commerce leaders, who are well established in their markets (Amazon, Cdiscount, Veepee, Fnac, Booking, etc.), as well as for the smaller players, the playing field is now international, and ambitions are high for the years ahead.

E-commerce skills are therefore more in demand than ever. Discover the 2024 salaries for key e-commerce positions!
