Salaries are continuing to rise sharply for data architect positions, with a strong demand for profiles with expertise in the cloud. In addition to technical skills, real business vision, the ability to understand the challenges specific to the market and the company and to work in close collaboration with the business lines, as well as managerial skills (leading a team, but also passing on skills to help them improve) are also particularly sought-after. Salary gaps on the market can be significant (of the order of 20-210%) for profiles combining technical expertise, business vision and managerial skills.
