The marketplace key account manager works within the marketplaces and takes on the role of key contact for his portfolio of customers (brands and retailers), which he has to develop. This position is also found on the brand and retailer side, where they will be interfacing with all the marketplaces on the market. Their role will be to develop sales and optimise marketing actions on these platforms. Remuneration is stable for this position, which is now fairly widespread. However, expert profiles are much in demand in certain sectors that have more recently entered e-commerce, such as health/pharmacy, and salaries can rise rapidly with experience.
