The Product Owner role, which has become much more widespread in all sectors, covers quite different challenges depending on the companies involved: the size of the product and its maturity, the internal organisation, the methodologies in place (agile maturity), etc. As a result, remuneration packages vary accordingly. Generally speaking, there is massive demand for these skills, and the market will be very tense in 2024 for hyperexpert profiles (e-commerce environment, order management system, payment tools, e-commerce repository, PIM/DAM, etc.). Salaries are rising sharply, including for project manager profiles who are training or retraining, and are sometimes quite junior in the role of PO itself.
