Like the product owner, the role of product manager involves very different responsibilities depending on the type of business and environment, the level of maturity in agile methodologies, the size of the product, and the related business issues. Salaries are therefore quite variable. They are clearly rising as demand for product managers is very high and growing in all sectors. Despite great surges in salary for the most expert profiles, we are witnessing a certain re-evaluation as companies and their organizational charts are being restructured. However, top candidates remain rare, and companies must plan to entice them with attractive pay gaps (around 15-20%).
