Reemind is recruiting for its client, a leading start-up in the sports & wellness industry. We are looking for a :

Chief Operating Officer – UK market

Based in London

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Our client is currently expanding its company on an international level and has identified the UK market as a strong growth opportunity.

You will oversee the development of the business in the UK, starting with London, by integrating the current locations in the company culture, adapting the company’s offer to the UK market, and developing customer acquisition.

Craft and execute a dynamic, tailored growth strategy for the UK market

  • Define and lead the strategy for the UK market, by conducting a deep product/market analysis to adapt the offer to the customers’ needs
  • Identify relevant growth opportunities and build a business development roadmap
  • Implement the company’s branding, culture and values within the UK branch
  • Build a targeted marketing and customer acquisition strategy, in line with the brand image and the markets’ needs
  • Develop a robust organization tailored to the UK market, enabling the company to scale: establish clear metrics and performance management, streamline operational processes, and implement effective risk management strategies/

Expand and manage operations to drive development

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and provide the necessary tools and processes to the network for an efficient growth
  • Build partnerships with key actors to develop perks and additional services for the customers and create retention
  • Ensure the implementation of the company values and guidelines for each branch

Drive the team to success

  • Build the strategy for the market in close relationship with the co-founders and the HQ
  • Develop the local UK culture and values
  • Grow the teams within the UK market: recruitment, training, performance management, career paths, etc.

PROFILE

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in operations management roles of B2C services such as hospitality, with a proven track record in high-growth environments
  • A deep knowledge of the UK market, and more specifically London
  • An entrepreneurial and business development acumen,
  • A 360° and self-sufficient profile, capable of handling operations, business development, marketing, client relationship, events, …
  • A branding and marketing sensibility along with creativity and proactivity oriented towards growth
  • Great leadership skills, and the ability to bring together multicultural teams from various businesses and leverage their assets to enrich the company culture
